This was for my first graduate interior design studio. The project began with one word: Disgust. Visitors who have recently been diagnosed with a disease find Palm Key offers space to encase themselves, contaminate themselves, and float in a world not of their own. Freed of the negative implications of disease visitors will have the opportunity to reexamine their own relationship with disease. Simply put, Disgust is a vehicle for active reaction.
